For example, our Chapters provide the equivalent of nearly $18 million in volunteer hours annually in support of local philanthropies. Membership is a privilege and carries responsibilities beyond participation in a Chapter and involvement in a local community. The relationship between the National organization and the local Chapter members is mutually beneficial; it honors the prestige of a nationally recognized brand and provides for lifelong friendship and networking.
