3 Pillars

The 3 pillars are:

Cultural Experiences - Create an environment that nurtures positive identity by recognizing and appreciating the value of differences in each other and the world.

Leadership - Maximize your potential to be a confident role model by embracing "who you are" which empowers your personal sense of purpose and allows you to be an advocate for others.

Community Service - Promote social awareness that creates action to meet needs and inspires others to become servant leaders.

Our Mission: The Cinderella Affair is an all-volunteer project supported by Tempe Community Council,  the City of Tempe and the East Valley Women's League.
It is our mission to make attending prom affordable for all Phoenix-area high school junior and senior students as well as make it an event in their lives to remember.
The program was founded in 2002 to assist girls by collecting and distributing gently-used formalwear. The Cinderella Affair has also provided dresses for exchange students from the Tempe Sister Cities program, the clients of the Hacienda de Los Angels, and young ladies participating in the Miss CHAMPION Pageant.

Thank you to all the volunteers who help
make this event memorable for so many young ladies!

THE NCL, Inc. Mission:

To foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.

By living that mission, NCL has been making a difference for many decades. For example, our Chapters provide the equivalent of nearly $18 million in volunteer hours annually in support of local philanthropies. Membership is a privilege and carries responsibilities beyond participation in a Chapter and involvement in a local community. The relationship between the National organization and the local Chapter members is mutually beneficial; it honors the prestige of a nationally recognized brand and provides for lifelong friendship and networking.
That is why consistency is the watchword of the NCL brand and is the foundation, structure and secret to assuring our ongoing success. By promoting the same identity across the country, NCL Chapters can own the strategic long range Vision of our organization, which is:
  THE NCL, Inc. Vision:
National Charity League, Inc. Chapters will be the premier mother-daughter organization in every state involved in valuable philanthropic, leadership, educational and cultural experiences so that all community volunteer needs are met.
Membership in NCL gives mothers and daughters unique opportunities to strengthen their bond while growing together, sharing of themselves and improving their communities. Ours is the only National organization committed to fostering the mother-daughter relationship through philanthropic, leadership and cultural activities together and in peer groups.
